How long is the recovery period?

The procedure takes approximately 10–20 minutes, and you may be able to return to your daily activities afterward. However, swelling, bruising, and pain may occur. Swelling under the chin can persist for a considerable period, so it is best to allow sufficient recovery time before any important events.

Generally, you can expect changes due to submental fat reduction starting 4 to 6 weeks after the procedure, but the timing and extent of the effects may vary depending on the individual's fat volume and the number of procedures performed.
Precautions

▪ Pain and swelling are natural symptoms that occur during the key actions of the DCA ingredient, destruction of fat cells, removal of fat cell debris, and induction of collagen synthesis, and may persist for 1 to 2 weeks or longer.
▪ Swelling, bruising, and needle marks at the treatment site typically improve within 1 to 2 weeks.
▪ Applying an ice pack may help relieve pain. To help maintain treatment results, avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication for one week.
▪ After the procedure, please avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, hot packs, and other high-temperature stimulati, as well as excessive pressure (such as massage or lymphatic drainage) and strenuous exercise for at least one week.
